À l’occasion de la Fête de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, le cinéma belge francophone sera à l’honneur le dimanche 27 septembre. Le Cinéma L’Écran ne déroge pas à la règle et réserve un beau programme, avec notamment la projection du Tout Nouveau Testament en séance gratuite et de Tous les chats sont gris. Rendez-vous donc à 17h pour la première projection, Le Tout Nouveau Testament, dernier film de Jaco Van Dormael, avec Benoit Poelvoorde, Catherine Deneuve, François Damiens, Yolande Moreau et Pili Groyne. Encensé par la critique, cette comédie loufoque, co-écrite par Jaco Van Dormael et l’inclassable auteur Thomas Gunzig (Manuel de survie à l’usage des incapables), regorge de poésie légère et de fantaisies plus cocasses les unes que les autres. Retrouvant un rôle d’allumé, Benoit Poelvoorde « est colère » et a l’air de prendre un plaisir divin à incarner ce dieu pervers et malveillant, redescendu sur terre pour botter les fesses de sa jeune fille, tandis que Catherine Deneuve se prête aux excentricités du réalisateur, manifestement en grande forme. Un bon cru ! Entrée libre mais réservation souhaitée auprès de la billetterie de la Maison Culturelle d’Ath (billet@mcath.be - 068 26 99 89). Pour celles et ceux qui n'auraient pas l'occasion de le voir le 27/09, le film sera encore à l'Écran jusqu'au 10 octobre.

Et à 20h, les cinéphiles sont invités à découvrir le premier long métrage de la réalisatrice belge Savina Dellicour, avec Bouli Lanners, Manon Capelle et Anne Coesens. Adapté d’un court métrage qu’elle avait elle-même réalisé en 2009, Tous les chats sont gris démontre une grande qualité d’écriture et de mise en scène. Finement construite, l’intrigue se dévoile au rythme d’une enquête qui prend une tournure inattendue au fur et à mesure que se dissipent les non-dits. De plus en plus à l’aise dans les rôles dramatiques, Bouli Lanners est touchant dans son rôle de père solitaire, meurtri et protecteur, donnant la réplique à une Manon Capelle épatante de justesse pour sa première apparition au cinéma. Séance à 6€.
